Job Title: Programming Coach
Reports To: Program Director
Required Availability:
- Part-Time (15-30 hours per week); Varying Schedule (Days needed may change; mayinclude some occasional Saturdays)
- Full-Time (30-40 hours per week); Varying Schedule (Days needed may change; mayinclude some occasional Saturdays)
- Internship (Hour Requirement TBD); Varying Schedule (Days needed may change; mayinclude some occasional Saturdays)
Job Summary: Assist and lead programming at Summit. Works directly with students often. Must be knowledgeable about Five Star Life’s Programs, practices and procedures. Must embody all Five Star Life Core Values (respect, responsibility, integrity, sacrifice, courage) in and outside of the workplace.
Essential Job Functions:
Facilitate Programming
- Lead and/or support at experiential learning center programs
- Connect with students and coach them to live their best life
- Complete ALL Necessary FSL Training
- Obtain Certifications needed to facilitate programming
- Be at check-in ready to start ON TIME (recommend arriving 10- 15 mins prior tostart time)
- Complete Pre/Post Inspection Check-lists each day and complete End of Day○ Debrief Form PRIOR to leaving campus (if applicable)
- Help set up campus prior to programming (if applicable)
- Keep campus “Tour Ready” during programming○ Clean campus after programming
Plan and Develop Five Star Life programming with the Program Team
- Provide real time feedback and suggestions for continual improvement to the Program Team
- Implement and tweak programing based on direction provided by Program Team
Oversee Learning Experience From Start to Finish
- Fill out Pre-Inspection Check-list
- Ensure all necessary materials are set up at station
- Facilitate the experience with the kids and any support staff
- Engage kids and coaches/chaperones
- Implement the FSL curriculum
- Measure and collect data
- Tear down station putting everything back in its proper place
- Take Inventory
- Fill out Post-Inspection Check-list
- Report metrics
Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor

- Reliable transportation between properties - which include the Five Star Life Office(Elkhart, IN), Summit Commercial Areas (Union, MI), and the Five Star Life EarlyLearning Center (Osceola, IN)

Compensation:
- $11-16
- Compensation is based on position and experience
